Dear UK colleagues

the next UCML Plenary offers an opportunity to find out more about the four flagship OWRI projects funded by the AHRC. The principal investigators will be grateful too for your views, comments and feedback. Also speaking is the new AHRC lead fellow for Modern Languages, Janice Carruthers, whose plans to spread OWRI wider will be of interest to all. There will be information too on the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).
Charles Forsdick from the AHRC, Catherine Davies from the IMLR and Charles Burdett, PI on the Transnationalising Modern Languages project, will also be taking part in an open discussion on these matters.

OWRI is intended to exercise an impact on our subject, how we perceive its parameters and possibilities, and we will conduct research in the decades to come.
