Shreya,
You can look in
Nabelek, P. I., and Morgan, S. S., 2012, Metamorphism and fluid flow in the contact aureole of the Eureka Valley-Joshua Flat-Beer Creek pluton, California: Geological Society of America Bulletin, v. 124, p. 228-239.

In the latter, both garnet and vesuvianite have significant Fe3+.

Dear list members,
we are working on calc-silicate rocks having the assemblage grandite Grt + Cpx (di) + Plg (An) + Vsv ± Qz. We are trying to model the phase stabilities in the CMASH system.
We have come across a few papers dealing with similar Vsv bearing assemblages:
Cartwright & Oliver (1994), Valley et al. (1995), Bogoch et al. (1997).
Could you please point out any other published examples of Grt+Vsv assemblages? Or any petrogenetic grid showing the stability of Vsv?
Thanks and regards,
Shreya
