Invitation to GEM members
This year’s Understanding British Portraits Annual Seminar takes place at the National Portrait Gallery on Wednesday 29 November.
The Annual Seminar aims to highlight current scholarly research, collections-based learning programmes, curatorial best practice, and conservation case studies.
We are inviting museum and gallery professionals, academics and doctoral students, conservators, dealers, and independent researchers to submit papers for this event. Presentations will be 20-minutes in length
and will focus on new discoveries, collection challenges, innovative practice and inspiring case studies. Please send your abstract (max. 300 words) and short biographical note (max. 100 words) to Caroline Pegum, Researcher/Coordinator (cpegum’at’npg.org.uk)
before 6pm on Monday 5 June 2017.
