Hello all
St Albans Museums is offering a toy mangle (images attached) for disposal from its handling collection.
Having undertaken tests on the paint we found it to contain lead; hence it is clearly not suitable for handling.
However, it could possibly work well in a room set style museum display.
If you are interested in acquiring this object please do get in touch, it is in good condition. (Collection from St Albans)
