PhD student scholarship (up to 4.5 years, 1,900 €/month)

We seek to fill a position for one doctoral student, who will be jointly supervised by Prof. Dr. Markus Ullsperger, Department of Neuropsychology, and PD. Dr. Gerhard Jocham, Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory. 
The position is part of the International Graduate School on Analysis, Brain Imaging, and Modeling of Neuronal and Inflammatory Processes (ABINEP), Module 4 “Human Brain Imaging for diagnosing neurocognitive disorders”. It is focused on neural and computational mechanisms of reinforcement learning and decision making and their pathological changes in neurological and mental disorders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in one of Germany's leading imaging facilities. With a multitude of research-dedicated MRI-scanners (several 3T and one 7T), MEG, EEG and psychophysiology laboratories, a high-performance computing cluster and a large community of researchers, the Otto von Guericke University offers an outstanding and stimulating environment for cognitive neuroscience.
Requirements for the position:
•	A strong interest in decision making and learning
•	University master’s degree, diploma or equivalent in psychology, neuroscience, medicine or a related field.
•	Experience with cognitive neurosciences and methods (e.g., neuroimaging, EEG, MEG) as well as experimental programming and statistical data analysis is advantageous.
