Dear all,
With the usual apologies for cross-posting, I am happy to announce that the new open-access issue of Movie: A Journal of Film Criticism is now available at http://www.warwick.ac.uk/
As well as general articles, Issue 7 features a tribute to the late V. F. Perkins (including reprints of two classic Perkins articles), a dossier on film openings (Opening Choices), and a new audiovisual essays section. For the first time, we are also making the entire issue available as a single pdf. Contents below.
Movie: A Journal of Film Criticism is an annually appearing, peer-reviewed open-access journal committed to publishing rigorous but accessible critical writing that is responsive to the detailed texture and artistry of film and television, old and new.
Enjoy!
All the best,
Dr. James MacDowell
