Hi Jake We are in the same position as you with three campuses, three different centre numbers. We have a centralised Exams team here at King's Lynn and staff the other larger campus with Exams staff when there are exams or online tests going on. The other much smaller campus we only staff for GCSE exams. At the other two campuses we have staff (mainly admin roles who work full-time) who are trained to take in items needing secure storage and they are listed amongst the key-holders. I keep a copy of this information in the policy folder I have for JCQ inspections and the arrangement was deemed acceptable at an inspection last week. Hope this helps. We have three sites (all separate centre numbers).In order to comply with JCQ regs can anyone advise if we have to have a member of Exams staff on each site at all times or is it just when exams are actually running. The way I am reading section 5.3 in the JCQ Blue book it seems that as long as the actual centre address is manned between 8.30am -15.30pm term time we would just need to have a member of staff there when Exams are running and also be able to get any deliveries into safe storage as soon as they are received. Any thoughts/advice would be gratefully received.
