I would like to remind you there are only two weeks left to the submission deadlines.
Early Career Research Grant
- worth up to £10,000 (c. 11500 EUR, c. 12,300 USD)
This award is open to single applicants in their early career (five years’ maximum between the date showing on the certificate and the application deadline). Applicants must be based within an eligible higher
education institution (HEI) and must be a current, early career member of the Regional Studies Association and remain a member throughout the duration of the grant and reporting period. The RSA Early Career Awards are provided to support a discrete piece of
regional studies and/or regional science research. The award has a maximum time span of 18 months and reporting conditions apply.
RSA Awards 2017 - The deadline
is 31st May 2017.
Nominations (both self-nominations and third party nominations) of current members are being sought for the following awards in regional studies and related fields, which will
be awarded by the Regional Studies Association Award Committee in 2017.
The Awards ceremony will take place at the President’s Event on 16th November 2017 in London, UK. The prize for each Award is: A cheque for £500; A certificate; Up to £200
discretionary fund toward attending the 2016 RSA President's Event (transport costs).

RSA Travel Grant -
The deadline is

Apply for up to £500 funding towards your travel costs (transport only) to attend a non-RSA event. This grant is a fantastic opportunity to
help you towards your travel costs to present your work, network and participate at worldwide non RSA events within the field. You must be a member of the RSA when applying and when the event takes place and be presenting a paper at the event in the field
of regional studies (sub-national).
