One Research technician position is immediately available in the Berger laboratory, University of Bristol UK.

The Berger laboratory researches the structure and mechanism of key multiprotein complexes in human gene expression and develops enabling methods for their study.

We are seeking a Research Technician to actively participate in the ambitious research projects in our laboratory. The successful candidate will engage in designing and preparing DNA constructs, and will express, purify and characterize proteins and their complexes for high-resolution structural and functional study. Showing a high level of organization and independence, the successful candidate will manage the molecular biology and protein purification platforms including ordering of consumables, and assist in operating the eukaryotic expression facility in the Berger lab. 

The role holder will work under the supervision of the PI and will actively embrace the responsibility of managing technology platforms underpinning all research in the Berger lab.
