Hello All,

The King's College London Division of Imaging Sciences and Biomedical
Engineering has been awarded £12.1 million from the Wellcome Trust and
EPSRC to create a new Centre for Medical Engineering. The Centre will
provide innovative and inspiring opportunities for people to engage with
our work and the Public Engagement Manager will be responsible for
developing and leading on the public engagement strategy within the Centre
and for delivering on the public engagement programme. The post holder will
facilitate researchers in engaging a variety of audiences with research
undertaken by the Centre and strengthen information sharing, both
internally and externally. The post holder will therefore play a key role
in the success of the new Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for a public engagement specialist to
transform the relationship between a leading research community and the
wider public. We seek a highly motivated and creative individual who wishes
to help develop and deliver public engagement and oversee communications
within the Centre. Being based in central London will provide a fantastic
opportunity to engage a wide and diverse audience with our research. This
would be most suitable for someone educated to degree level in a science
subject and with experience in public engagement, with excellent
communication skills and capable of working with people at all levels of
seniority.

The selection process will include competency based questions and a panel
interview.

Interviews are scheduled to be held in May 2017

The deadline for applications is midnight on 19 April 2017

*Closing date*: 19 April 2017
