Dear all,

For those going to PSA Annual Conference at Glasgow next week, here’s a list of PSA WomenPol panels, meetings and events at the conference – if you’d like us to add anything to the list let us know:

https://psawomenpolitics.com/2017/04/07/psa-annual-conference-2017/

In addition to panels & plenaries above, we particularly hope to see you at:
  1. Our Specialist Group business meeting, where Fran and I will officially hand over to new Convenors Orlanda Ward & Jennifer Thomson. This takes place Tuesday 11 April, 12.30 – 13.30 in Executive Room A.
  2. The PSA Equality & Diversity meeting, for input into the PSA’s Equality and Diversity plan. This takes place Monday 10 April, 13.30 – 14.15, Graham Hills 512.
Finally, our call for this year’s PSA Women and Politics Undergraduate Essay Prize Competition is now open. The deadline for submissions will close on Friday 16 June 2017. More details here: https://psawomenpolitics.com/prizes/

Our judge for this year’s competition is Dr. Toni Haastrup, University of Kent – please send all submissions directly to her ([log in to unmask]). Lecturers should submit their ‘best’ gender and politics undergraduate essay – students must not independently send their essays. Essays should be max 3,000 words (excluding bibliography) - essays over this word limit will not be considered.

Hope to see many of you next week in Glasgow!

All best,

Meryl & Fran
