Hi
We haven’t yet, but as part of a review of our WSI approach, we are now going to start including a requirement for ALL WSI’s to address outreach. We sent this out for comment to Contractors and had no responses
about it (or anything else in it pretty much…) which we’re assuming is good…
This was partly following on from the recent CIFA workshop we attended on WSIs
best wishes

Subject: Outreach in planning briefs
Hi all,
For those of you who produce archaeological planning briefs, do you include an element of outreach depending on the potential of the site? If you do, do you outline the type of outreach/engagement or is it left open to interpretation? Do
you have any issues with developers/contractors with regards to outreach/engagement?
If you don't produce briefs but do approve WSIs, do you look for an element of outreach, again depending on the site? Do you find that it is automatically included? Any experiences with regards to this would be great.
Thanks all!
Ash
