Hi

One of us must have changed the default in bedpostx command line but not changed the online doc and the GUI. We can certainly change that to remain consistent.

The appropriate value to use depends on your data, particularly number of independent gradient directions, bvalue, and SNR.

Cheers,
Saad

Hi, dear FSL experts,

When performing BEDPOSTX, I met a problem. From FSL official website and BEDPOSTX windows, the default value for -n (fiber number) is 2.

However, in the terminal command interpretation for BEDPOST, the default value for -n is 3. Since "-n/Fibres" presents number of fibres modelled per voxel, it is an important parameter which should be consistent in one study. In general conditions of probabilistic trackgraphy, which fiber number is appropriate, 2 or 3?

With kind regards.
