Hi Paul
I’ve never used agency at all and now we have to prove to the JCQ that they have been trained I am less keen than ever. How can I prove that if I am using Agency inviglators they have been given copies of the
ICE book, trained as our team is and then there is always the quirky things each centre does that will always be different. I am having someone tomorrow to test the water for a mock exam and would really, really like some negatives

We’re about to tell our support staff that they will be required to undertake one invigilation session each this summer. Although I’ll have to do a mass training session in early May, we will use the regular
team to lead and direct the odd one or two staff members who will be making up numbers. The only opposition I can foresee is an earlier start for involved in morning sessions. I’m hoping our ever-helpful colleagues will come good!
We haven’t used agency staff since I started here in 2010.

Subject: invigilation
Hi All
I am really struggling with Invigilators this year being available for the sessions I need and our HR Officer wants me to investigate the possibility of using Agency staff. Has anyone had experience of using agency invigilators – would
you recommend it/are there any pitfalls?
Thanks for your help and hope everyone had a good Easter.
