There are 12 PhD places available as part of the EU Innovative Training Network “RAMP” (RAtionalising Membrane Protein Crystallisation), headed by Monika Spano.

Applicants can be from anywhere in the world, but can not have worked in the country where they want to get a PhD in the last three years.  The topics cover everything from mathematical modelling, developing novel devices, structural studies of transporters and receptors to use of the European Spallation Source, and the industrial partners include both Novartis and Astra-Zeneca.
