Presenter:      Michael I Jordan, University of Berkeley, will present and discuss his paper 'A scalable bootstrap for massive data'<http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/rssb.12050/full> which was co-authored by Ariel Kleiner, Ameet Talwalkar and Purnamrita Sarkar.  The paper was first published in 2014 in the Royal Statistical Society's Series B Journal (Volume 76:4) and is free to access.

An open discussion will follow the presentation by Michael Jordan and will be chaired by Richard Samworth. You can ask the author a question over the phone or simply issue a message online using the web based teleconference system.
