Pricing Modelling Manager Are you looking for a great opportunity where you can analyse large datasets to build the best Life pricing models in the industry, using and further developing your experience of statistical modelling or even machine learning? Is this you? You will be a ‘Pricing Knowledge Expert’ within our Beagle Street team, delivering (e.g.) Generalised Linear Models (GLM), decision trees, segmentation and stochastic analysis to build the most advanced pricing models in Life Insurance, and generate valuable, actionable business insight. You will provide the business with the ability to develop, monitor and analyse pricing strategies in order to optimise performance. As a Beagle Street analytical and technical expert you’ll drive the pricing change agenda and support the delivery of the business strategic priorities. What will it take? You are ambitious, a forward thinker with a strong academic background, and with a graduate, or postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or another analytical subject. You will have developed a sound understanding of a range of analytical concepts and statistical modeling. You’ll bring technical experience and be willing to develop into an analytical Pricing Manager role. You may have previous analytical experience within a commercial environment and are comfortable working with a client facing and development agenda/ partnership management. You will also have the ability to develop our pricing reporting information to meet our business requirements. You will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and will be proficient with a range of software packages (e.g. R, SQL, SAS, Excel or other similar packages). There will be no limits to your ability of using these techniques but pushing the boundaries and wanting to deliver exceptional commercial outcomes is something that is expected. Why choose us?
