Focus Fringe

The Wardrobe (Wednesday 3rd May 2017, 8 pm)

Focus 2017 is delighted to welcome you to the Focus Fringe on Wednesday 3rd May, 8 pm onwards.

Following the Conference Reception which will be held in the War Galleries, Royal Armouries 6pm onwards, Focus Fringe will be held at The Wardrobe<http://www.thewardrobe.co.uk/> , St Peter’s Square, Leeds, LS9 8AH. Click here<http://www.acb.org.uk/whatwedo/events/national_meetings/focus-2017/general-info/venue-directions/walking-directions> for walking instructions between the two venues. The Wardrobe is a Leeds bar with a great reputation as a live music venue. Food can be obtained until 9:30 or there are many other eateries in the vicinity for hungry delegates.

The Fringe is all about enjoying some pre-conference musical entertainment, relaxing in a convivial atmosphere, meeting old friends and maybe having a boogie or two!

The music will kick off at 8:30 with Et Al, Ian Watson’s band. Et al will heat you up playing a wide range of music ranging from R ‘n’ B to soul, from rock to rock ‘n’ roll.

At 9:45, Steve Goodall’s band, Kinda Blue, will cool you down with some atmospheric blues borrowing from, amongst others, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Visit facebook<https://www.facebook.com/kindablue> or soundcloud<https://soundcloud.com/kinda-blue-uk>.

The Fringe is also a chance to get up and jam a number with the bands. Anyone interested in doing this, please contact Steve: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

So, if you are up for playing, or up for listening, come along and join us for a memorable evening.
