Dear all,

http://www.rug.nl/…/phd-scholarship-progr…/phd-scholarships…

For the Groningen Institute of Archaeology, we welcome research proposals that devise a new zooarchaeological methodology focusing on at least one early domesticate, and apply it to case studies relating to the emergence and nature of farming in the margins of Neolithisation. Regions of primary interest are western Turkey and the Netherlands, but proposals that capture commonalities between these and other understudied geographic areas of primary and secondary Neolithisation are also welcome. Zooarchaeological method/s to be developed should have wide re-use potential for other archaeological periods and regions.

If you have any questions -Contact ME.

All the best,

Canan
