Apologies for cross posting

The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to recruit to two new temporary posts to support its response to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry, specifically in relation to historic and semi-current records of the Council and its predecessor bodies.

The two post holders will survey and appraise large numbers of records within tight timescales in order to identify relevant evidence that will then form part of the Council's formal response to the statutory inquiry. They will also list, organise and catalogue material for longer term access to support both business need and the rights of citizens. One post will have a focus on historic records (1930-1996) and the other will have a focus on more current records (1996-2014). The successful applicants will be part of a multi-disciplinary project team, with specialists in social work, legal, HR and internal audit, and will work with a wide range and level of Council staff to meet the project's objectives.

The two posts are detailed on MyJob Scotland, where you can apply: https://www.myjobscotland.gov.uk/councils/city-edinburgh-council/jobs/records-and-archives-officer-scottish-child-abuse-inquiry-75225

Please note that the applications deadline for both posts is Monday, 20th of March. Further details on these posts are available by contacting myself using the below details.

Yours sincerely,

Henry Sullivan
