Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is refusing to order Energy Minister Mark Bailey to reactivate the private email account he deleted in a move that blocked release of secret correspondence with a union boss.
After ordering an internal investigation into her cabinet’s use of private emails — to be conducted by her public service boss — the Queensland Premier said she did not want “to get involved’’.
It was revealed yesterday that Mr Bailey sabotaged the release of correspondence with a union boss about a $13 billion superannuation fund merger by deleting the account.
