Hi all

You might get a sense of déjà vu with this – we offered the same PhD studentship last year but no-one suitable applied! It’s a funded PhD studentship on palliative care and people with learning disabilities, jointly with me and the International Observatory on End of Life Care (who know what they’re doing).

Here is a brief overview

PhD studentship on ‘the issues faced by providers of intellectual disabilities services when caring for older people with palliative care needs’. Qualitative methodologies, likely an ethnographic approach, will be used to explore the experience of providing care. The award will cover university fees and doctoral stipend for UK/EU students for three years.  The closing date for applications is midnight 3rd April 2017. More details are here https://www.findaphd.com/search/ProjectDetails.aspx?PJID=84074 Informal inquiries to [log in to unmask].

It would be really great to get at least one decent applicant this time round, as I think it will be a really interesting project. I’m happy to chat to anyone potentially interested.

Please plug to who and where you can.

Thank you.

Chris
