Hello all,

Just a reminder that the next London SciComm Social will be on Tuesday 28th March, from 6pm in the basement cocktail bar at The Somers Town Coffee House. Join us if you can to chat all things science communication and public engagement! Details are here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1442655519160694/

Our symposium also returns on 11th May, and we have an exciting line-up of speakers from across the world of science communication and public engagement. All the money from ticket sales will go to the Stifford Centre (http://stifford.org.uk/). I hope you can join us for what I hope will be an enjoyable day of networking, sharing, and interesting speakers.

The Centre for Public Engagement provides advice, training and support to projects and activities that involve the public with Queen Mary and our research and teaching. We give advice in seeking and applying for external funding, and can discuss how to get started, design an activity or maximise its impact through one-to-one support, training and regular advice surgery drop-in sessions. Our monthly small funding rounds also provide up to £1,000 for Queen Mary public engagement projects.
