medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

I'm struggling to transcribe a document which refers to the epistle side of
a church screen (at least I think that's what it's talking about) but I
can't read the term for side. It looks like 'cirnu/cornu epistole'. A
dictionary search leads to 'citra' as a possibility, but it really doesn't
look like that. What would be the usual term for 'epistle side'?

Many thanks,

Laura
