The Department of Sociological Studies is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Digital Media and Society to contribute to teaching and research in this area. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the Department’s portfolio by maintaining our high standards of teaching through delivering modules in Digital Media and Society, leading the new BA Digital Media and Society and contributing to the MA Digital Media and Society.

You will have or be working towards a PhD in relevant discipline, have a proven teaching ability with a growing record of quality research publications Expertise in Digital Media and Society and experience of teaching in the subject area, ideally at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, is essential. You will be expected to represent the Department in the wider University and promote and represent the University and the discipline nationally and internationally.
