Thanks all, both on- and off-list, really useful.

One of our main concerns is that the system concerned should have some kind of API / CMS / programmatic input in order to cope with changes in the future (adding a new object, moving things around, etc) - but also I’m less inclined to hosted solutions than to ones we can host ourselves..

Will continue thinking!

> If you are doing this in Unity there is a free plugin on the asset store. I forget the name but you put in gps co-ordinates and it creates a skybox of the Google Maps images for that location. It does include watermarked Google logos but they’re not too intrusive and a bit of photoshop should cure that. You can then create the hotspots or gaze-input actions for VR using the regular Unity tools.
