Thanks all, both on- and off-list, really useful. One of our main concerns is that the system concerned should have some kind of API / CMS / programmatic input in order to cope with changes in the future (adding a new object, moving things around, etc) - but also I’m less inclined to hosted solutions than to ones we can host ourselves.. Will continue thinking! cheers Mike _____________ Mike Ellis Thirty8 Digital: a small but perfectly formed digital agency http://thirty8.co.uk ** NEW: http://wpformuseums.com for people using WordPress in museums ** ** Workshops, courses and free downloads: http://trainingdigital.co.uk ** On 1 Mar 2017, 11:09 +0000, Robson Jonathan (Trade) <[log in to unmask]>, wrote: > If you are doing this in Unity there is a free plugin on the asset store. I forget the name but you put in gps co-ordinates and it creates a skybox of the Google Maps images for that location. It does include watermarked Google logos but they’re not too intrusive and a bit of photoshop should cure that. You can then create the hotspots or gaze-input actions for VR using the regular Unity tools. > > Jonathan > > From: Museums Computer Group [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of jon pratty > Sent: 28 February 2017 14:15 > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: Re: Clickable panoramas > > Mike > This is coming on the outside fence: funky open and free Web VR tools - https://aframe.io/ > They do a nice non-Google Tiltbrush thing, accessed as Web VR > > Might be something there to do the trick... > JP > > On Tue, Feb 28, 2017 at 10:50 AM, Mike Ellis <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hi all > > How would you go about creating Google Street-View like internal panoramas which had clickable hotspots to get into deeper content?
