Due to retirement of the current post-holder, we are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic professional to work as part of the library team at Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health
Board. The role involves managing and developing evidence-based information services for all staff as well as students pursuing courses at the Universities of Cardiff, South Wales and Swansea.
The post will be based at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, part of Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board. Morriston Hospital provides acute general medical care, and care of the elderly, as well as a trauma and orthopaedic
service, and specialty services including urology, rheumatology, cardiac, intensive care and palliative medicine to a wide catchment area. Tertiary services based on this site include The Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery, and The Welsh Institute
of Metabolic and Obesity Surgery. Morriston also has a regional renal unit, regional vascular surgery and maxillofacial services (including Cleft Lip & Palate). It hosts the All Wales Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer service (EMRTS Cymru)
