Thanks to everyone for comments.

Douglas Badenoch has been in touch to explain that some blogs are dormant - awaiting volunteers, whilst some are still very active.

We add the rss feeds for blogs to our current awareness pages and have this listed as a source of current information - I think I'll remove the dormant content and just refer to those blogs that seem to be most active.
