Dear Colleague

 

Diagnosis of the problem causing your web site or system to be off-line today was completed earlier.  One of our firewalls suffered a hardware failure.  We have a replacement unit on its way to us by courier and we intend to install it late this evening in our data centre, estimated at around 11:00pm.

 

Meanwhile, with a temporary arrangement we have been able to bring some systems back on-line, but not all.

 

The hardware replacement late tonight will only take a short while and all systems should come back on-line at that point.

 

I apologise for this loss of service.  We will e-mail you again with an update at 9:30am tomorrow (Thursday)  morning.
