Hello all,

At the Department of Higher Education, we do active research in Higher Education. Our main areas of recent publications and grants have been in pedagogical frailty, assessment and feedback, migrant academics and disciplinary work.

We are currently redesigning our website to include the research element but in the meantime you can see more information about us here: http://www.surrey.ac.uk/dhe/

Cheers

Anesa

Great to see that this work is taking place at other organisations. Thanks for sharing.

At Manchester there is another relatively new initiative Centre for Higher Education Research, Innovation and Learning.

The Library has been lucky enough to secure a series of successful projects from the initiative.

Does anyone know of any interesting centres or initiatives researching and contributing to HE scholarship and practice?

Could folk possibly flag up any interesting initiatives/centres/institutes/depts. etc. - that they know of at their (or other) institutions - that are engaging in learning/curriculum/educational development related work along with research in and for HE – was thinking along lines such as

Yes we are being reviewed, reorganised, restructured - again! (before previous reorganisation even finished)
