Dear All
I’m happy to report that plans for the forthcoming summer meeting are progressing well. As you will probably recall, this is to be held at The Guildhall, Alfred Gelder Street,
Hull HU1 2AA on Tuesday 4th July. At the event we hope to have presentations including: updates on the Heritage Information Access Strategy (HIAS) and Scotland’s Historic Environment Data (SHED); the evaluation of early prehistoric HER enhancement
projects; the Hull City of Culture year and its legacy and the Hull Heritage Action Zone. I’m now ‘opening the book’ for those of you that would like to attend so, if you’re interested, please get in touch (preferably off-list). Deadline for applications will
be close of play on Friday June 16th.
This year, since a number of people will probably need to travel to Hull during the preceding day, we are thinking about arranging a walking tour around Hull’s historic town
centre on the Monday evening. If you would like to participate in this could you mention it in your application please.
Hope to see you there.
Best wishes
Nick
