Subject: Lectureship vacancy in health economics and microeconomics at University of York

The Department of Economics and Related Studies, University of York  is seeking to appoint a Teaching and Scholarship Lecturer to contribute to teaching in our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, focused in the areas of Health Economics and Microeconomics.

Candidates will have a PhD or equivalent professional experience in Health Economics or related discipline.

Responsibilities will include teaching and marking at both BSc and MSc level.  Candidates will be expected to deliver lectures, seminars, practicals and supervision, develop module content and materials, and undertake a range of associated administrative and managerial responsibilities.  You will also supervise and mark BSc & MSc dissertations.

The post is a full time position of 37 hours per week and is available for a fixed term of 36 months from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2020.  A job share would be considered.
