Call For Papers
****************************************

We invite submissions that discuss recent developments in all areas of
research, theory and applications of Genetic Improvement. The
workshop provides an opportunity for researchers interested in GI to
exchange ideas and find out about current research directions in the
field. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, using
genetic improvement to automatically:

- fix bugs
- improve efficiency
- decrease memory consumption
- increasing energy efficiency
- transplant new functionality
- specialise software
- porting, many version computing

and GI techniques, new or existing: Eg loop perforation, genetic
programming, search, constraint-based synthesis, search based software
engineering, program analysis, testing, data mining, machine learning,
information theory.

Research & Position Papers
****************************************

We invite submissions of two types of paper:

Research papers: up to 8 pages long Position papers: 2 pages long

We encourage authors to submit early and in-progress work.
The workshop emphasises interaction and discussion.

All papers should be in ACM (Association for Computing Machinery)
format. Please see GECCO 2017 http://gecco-2017.sigevo.org for
details. Papers should not be anonymised. All papers should be
submitted in PDF format via
