Thank you so much to colleagues in the sector for responding to me on the query below, it was really helpful to talk to some of you about the type of evidence that would be satisfactory. I have a number of queries
that I am still waiting to be answered from DSA-QAG itself but have not received their response as yet.
On a related note, I notice that the QAF states that NMH providers must
at least annually re-register NMH staff through the registration portal so I am currently preparing to do this. I haven’t received a communication to do so but feel the framework expects us to do this. Has anyone else done this recently and if so,
can you confirm whether the process requires payment as it did last year or whether there were any other unexpected difficulties?

Subject: DSA-QAG Audit
Dear Colleagues,
We are, like many others I’m sure, preparing to be audited (we don’t have a date as yet but have no sophisticated electronic systems to rely on so need to prepare paperwork in advance). I have a number of questions and am awaiting a reply
to some of these from the DSA-QAG administration contact. However I would really benefit from talking to someone who has already been audited to understand what constitutes evidence etc.
Would anyone, who has already been through the audit process, be willing to have a telephone conversation with me tomorrow or next Thursday to inform our preparation?
