Dear members,

Palgrave Communications (http://www.palgrave-journals.com/palcomms) is a multi- and interdisciplinary open-access (http://www.palgrave-journals.com/palcomms/about/openaccess) journal, published by Palgrave Macmillan, that covers all fields of research within the social sciences and humanities. Peer review of each submitted manuscript is overseen by members of the journal's international Editorial Board (http://www.palgrave-journals.com/palcomms/about/editorial-board)

We are now inviting interested academics to apply for inclusion on our board, or to nominate suitable colleagues.

Associate Editors' key responsibilities include:

* Acting as advocates for the journal throughout the community

* Upon invitation, overseeing the assignment of peer reviewers to papers submitted to the journal and recommending editorial decisions following completion of peer review

* Upon invitation, acting as peer reviewers for submitted papers within their area of expertise

* Providing editorial advice on an ad hoc basis to the in-house Editorial Team

Editorial Board candidates should be established academics with a clear publication record demonstrating their expertise in their research field. They may be research group leaders or professors, as well as senior academics. Candidates with an interest in interdisciplinary research are particularly welcomed. Naturally, candidates should be able to maintain the high ethical standards expected of academics overseeing aspects of peer review.

To be considered please provide information on your research interests, publication record and, if relevant, details of any previous experience of serving on journal editorial boards. All applications and nominations should be directed to the Editorial Office: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Best wishes,
