Subject: SoBRA publishes Generic Assessment Criteria for assessing vapour risks from volatile constituents in groundwater
Hi all
SoBRA is pleased to announce the publication of generic assessment criteria (GAC) and methodology to assess the long-term (chronic) risks to human health from inhalation of vapours arising from volatile constituents
in shallow groundwater. GAC have been produced for 64 volatile compounds for two land-use scenarios: residential and commercial. The GAC are intended to complement other screening methodologies (such as exclusion depths and distances) for assessing the groundwater
vapour contaminant linkages.
To download the methodology and GAC please visit SoBRA's website:
Kind regards
