I would concur with the remains being small tubers rather than seeds.

I think these are little lovely tubers rather than seeds

Dear members,I have many of these...seeds? most of the time carbonized, sometimes mineralized (cf. picture 2).It comes from Chalcolithic layers in the South Caucasus (Georgia), dated to approx. 4600-4400 Cal. BC.The site is a small rock-shelter, very close to a river, at 1700 m ASL.Would anyone have an idea of what that might be??
Thanks,Best regards,Lucie
