I would concur with the remains being small tubers rather than seeds.

Dear members,

I have many of these...seeds? most of the time carbonized, sometimes mineralized (cf. picture 2).
It comes from Chalcolithic layers in the South Caucasus (Georgia), dated to approx. 4600-4400 Cal. BC.
The site is a small rock-shelter, very close to a river, at 1700 m ASL.

Would anyone have an idea of what that might be??

Thanks,
Best regards,

Lucie
