Women in Health Lecture: Dare to Care
Thursday 9 March, 17:30 - 18:30, John Snow Lecture Theatre, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
Speaker: Dr Joanne Liu, International President of Médecins Sans Frontières
Following the lecture there will be an informal discussion about Dr Joanne Liu's career and life with our Deputy Director, Professor Dame Anne Mills.

About the Speaker:  Dr Joanne Liu has undertaken over twenty missions in Central Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East. As a staunch advocate of field based, quality driven patient care, her operational contributions range from introducing comprehensive medical care for survivors of sexual violence, to developing a telemedicine platform that connects physicians in remote sites with medical specialists worldwide.
