Dear colleagues,

ECU annual conference 2017 — call for workshops and papers

ECU’s conference theme for 2017 is inclusivity, intersectionality, action: moving forward the equality agenda in higher education.

We would like to invite submissions for workshops, panels of papers and individual papers from universities to share experience and innovation around each of the following themes:

=        creating an inclusive university

=        taking an intersectional approach to equality and diversity

=        taking action and overcoming barriers to action on equality and diversity

We also welcome submissions from organisations and individuals working in other sectors where there is the potential for useful cross-sector sharing of experience and knowledge.

Date and location: Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 November 2017, Birmingham

Deadline for submissions: Friday 21 April 2017 at 17:00

Full details and submission forms can be found on the ECU website: http://www.ecu.ac.uk/news/ecus-annual-conference-2017-call-workshops-papers/

Please forward this call for papers and workshop proposals to any appropriate colleagues who might be interested.

Best wishes,

ECU team
