Dear colleagues,

Please see below for two posts in literary translation.

Thanks,

Beate

There are two fixed-term Research Assistant/Associate posts in literary translation studies, starting from 1st April 2017 or as soon as possible afterwards, based at Newcastle University.

Post-holders will work on a project titled “Poetry translation in poet-advisor-poet trios: collaborative, cross-language and creative processes”. The project involves gathering and analysing recordings of participants’ working processes at poetry translation workshops, and then publicising research findings and poem translations. It is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), and is led by translation and poetry-writing scholars at the Universities of Newcastle and Roehampton.

Sorry for any cross-posting.

Yours,
