Candidates are invited to apply for an NIMH-funded postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Harold Koenigsberg at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. This exciting position is an opportunity to enter at the beginning of a 5-year  R01 grant studying the neural and behavioral correlates of the dimension of affective instability and cognitive emotion regulation transdiagnostically. The successful applicant will  have the opportunity to develop his or her own projects as well. The full imaging and advanced computer resources of the Translational Molecular and Imaging Institute (TMII) and Brain Imaging Center (BIC) of Mount Sinai will be available.

Successful applicants will have completed a PhD in psychology, neuroscience or a related field and have a strong publication record that includes neuroimaging studies, preferably with a focus on using fMRI and psychophysiology to examine emotion regulation and emotion experience and their relationship to behavioral and cognitive function. Strong technical skills are required, including competence in task implementation, pre-processing and analyzing imaging data.
