In Carrie's diaries, there is an entry (1928): "23 MayMr. Gwynne and Sir P. Bates bring the wonderful copy of the Alphabet Necklace" This was a representation of the Alphabet necklace which Kipling described and illuatrated at the end of the tale /'How the Alphabet was Made/, in /Just So Stories./ Can anyone say where it is now, please? /Alastair Wilson/ (Sorry about the formatting, my computer has 'gone off in auto')
