Good day all! Thanks for this video! What a wonderful re-energising realist methodology morning talk to watch over coffee and breakfast! A follow up question: There was a slide near the end that proposes a number of different potential emphases for a realist evaluation/synthesis. As I reflect on my own realist eval phd research currently underway, it seems that I have found my work swimming (drowning?) in a number of the emphases you outline (clarifying what is going on with the program, unearthing causal pathways, exploring contextual determinants, etc). It seems that one might end up naturally doing a bit of all these things in a realist evaluation but is this possibly problematic in terms of the scope of an evaluation? Thanks for your thoughts and I wish you all an excellent day! Cheers! Adrienne Adrienne Levay, BSc., MSc., PhD.
