BFI FLARE, the UK’s longest running LGBT film event, is nearly here! 150+ films and filmmakers from around the world plus events, discussions, and workshops for film industry, public audiences and students.

A Student Delegate Pass is only £15 and offers unique access to the Festival’s Industry screenings and events programme online and at BFI Southbank, Flare Education events and more! For full-time film students age 18+ only.

FREE Education Screenings and Events

Explore different cinematic perspectives at ‘Flare Shorts 2017: Meet the Filmmakers’; Catch MILES, a wonderful new coming of age story from the US based on a true story; Meet an industry panel and discuss current representations of LGBT characters in film and TV at ‘Represent Me!’ And for only £3, join us for ORLANDO: The Queer Element, a live cinema event focusing on the creation of gender identity that weaves together theatre, film and insights from experts in fashion and science.

25 & Under Rush Tickets

45 minutes before the advertised start time, and subject to availability, all non-Gala tickets are£3 for 25 year olds and under! In person at venue, with valid ID only.
