Jessica Ringrose (Professor of Sociology of Gender and Education at the University College London Institute of Education) works at the intersections of girlhood studies, media studies, sociology of education and critical psychology and draws on feminist poststructural, psychosocial and Deleuzo-Guattarian approaches to understanding subjectivity, affect and social transformation.

Other work includes Children, Sexuality and Sexualisation (Palsgrave, 2015, edited with Emma Renold and Danielle Egan) and Deleuze and Research Methodologies (with Rebecca Coleman, Edinburgh University Press).

Emma Renold (Professor of Childhood Studies at the School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University, Wales) works with queer and feminist post/constructionist theories, her research explores young gendered and sexual subjectivities across diverse institutional sites and public spaces.
