Hi all
To chime in with another Wellcome Collection perspective, I’ve found that using Slack across our teams does more to help us get to know each other better and be supportive to one another. A well-timed donut emoji or a dancing woman is surprisingly great for morale. And we’re getting to know each other’s senses of humour more.
This isn’t something you can do with email.
All other Slack critiques apply: lack of navigable archive, noise, etc.

How many of you are are actively using Slack in your organisations, and does anyone work somewhere where it has been been blocked for 'security reasons'?
