Dear colleagues,
A Mandarin speaking Chinese student (Year 12) who recently joined our Sixth Form has passed his Mandarin GCSE exams with flying colours in Year 9 (A*) and will be doing his AS exams this year. He speaks and reads Chinese and just needs some advice on how to prepare for the exams. Unfortunately I have no experience. Could anyone help out and guide us in the right direction?

Sedbergh School needs help from a speaking examiner for Chinese (6 x Cantonese & 2 x Mandarin). If you can help, or if you know anyone who might be available to help, please contact Andy Loughe, Head of MFL at Sedbergh, directly via his email:
Sedbergh would pay travel expenses + £30 per hour examining and can also offer overnight accommodation if necessary.
