Hi, Annabel. To my mind, if enough money is available, any opportunities for interaction with "real" Chinese people in an authentic language environment would more than justify the investment. I would love to have access to such a fund to send my less fortunate students on (for instance) the China Study Camps - these are life-changing, inspiring experiences for students. If funds don't stretch to that, then a partner school project (even an online one) would be the next-best thing. If possible, both!
That's my "if I won the lottery" answer. In terms of learning resources, one that is now even more worthwhile than before (because it now comes with stroke order checking, basically what we have all needed for years) is of course the Chairman's Bao (www.thechairmansbao.org). Highly recommended.
Hope this helps :)

Hi Annabel. Have you thought about having a sister school that you can do joint projects with and do student exchanges ( both ways)? We can help set this up and support you
Cheers
