Reading Lists - Challenge or Opportunity?
17 March 2017, All day, De Morgan House, The London Mathematical Society
*Full programme now available*Reading lists are a perennial issue in the academic Library. Resource lists, book lists, what are they in the first place? How do you engage with academics? How do you meet the needs of students and staff in the reading list process? How do the reading lists systems relate to other library and university systems? Why choose one supplier over another? What are the benefits for the library and information service e.g. with NSS? This event brings together speakers from a number of institutions who will be exploring the issues listed above and explaining how they have, or at times haven't, managed to overcome them.
