Hi folks

I just saw this on the SEDA list – the book referred to: “My Freshman Year: What a Professor Learned by Becoming a Student” looks really fascinating – https://www.amazon.co.uk/My-Freshman-Year-Professor-Becoming/dp/0801443970

I just wish I had thought of this for my EdD! It would be great if someone in the English and Scottish HE systems would do similar research (though there may be some ethical questions to deal with … )

Has anyone already read this? I’m planning to get a copy …

Best

John

Subject: A book (and my memory issues)

Dear colleagues

I am trying to recall the name of a book, published in the USA.

It was written by an academic who took a year off and during that year attended university/college as an undergraduate.

I want to call it ‘My Undergraduate Year’ but this in Google does not turn up the book.

Any ideas please.

Thanks

Peter
